There are several types of intenet servives. 




First is World Wide Web,a system of interlinked hypertext documents accessed via the Internet.

Second is Electronic Mail, an internet service that allows the transmission of messages and files via a computer network. Consist of simple text or can contain attachments, such as documents, graphics or audio/video clips.

Third is Instant Messaging, a type of online chat whch offers real-time text transmission over the internet. A private chat that allow registered users to communicate in real time. For instance. Yahoo Messenger or Facebook Messenger.


                         


Fourth, Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP), a technology allows user to make voice calls uisng an Internet connection instead of a regular telephone line. For example, Skype, Google Hangouts or Line.





Fifth, Message Board, an internet site where users can post comments about a particulat issue or topic and reply to other users postings. An online discussion site where people can hold conversations in the form of posted messages.  Also called Internet Forum. 

Last, File Transfer Protocol (FTP), an internet standard that permits file uploading and downloading with other computers on the internet. For example, SmartFTP.

What is World Wide Web?

A system of interlinked hypertext documents accessed via the Internet.

Origination and Early Development of the World Wide Web

Researcher Tim Berners-Lee led the development of the World Wide Web in the late 1980s and early 1990s.


He helped build prototypes of the original core Web technologies and coined the term "WWW." Websites and Web browsing exploded in popularity during the mid-1990s and continue to be a key usage of the Internet today.


About Web Technologies.


The WWW is just one of many applications of the Internet and computer networks.It is based on these three core technologies:

HTML - Hypertext Markup Language. HTML originally supported only text documents, but with enhancements during the 1990s grew capable of handling frames, style sheets and plugins for general purpose Website content publishing.

HTTP - Hypertext Transfer Protocol.  HTTP finally made it to version 2.0 after 20 years, indicative of how well the protocol accommodated the Web's growth.

Web servers and Web browsers. The original Netscape has given way to many other browser applications, but the same concepts of client-server communication still apply.

Assalamualaikum!

 So, during Chinese New Year Holiday, my cousin and I was planning to go to Skytrex at the Langkawi. We planned to go 3 days after I came back from KMK. But, unfortunately, we cancelled it because something came up and it not can't be avoided. She also got off from work only for one day. *crying



So, I could say most of my time I spend only at home. The activity I do the most at home were eating and sleeping. To be honest, I am the best among the best when it comes to eat and sleep. Day and night. Hahaha. That's all. One more thing, I managed to do a tour around of my house as well during the holiday.




However, on Wednesday, I followed my family went to Kedah Medical Centre because my father wanted to do a medical check up. He was suspected Cholelithiasis (Batu hempedu) but it was not confirmed yet. So, my father did a medical check up to confirm it.





After the medical check up, it was confirmed my father had Cholelithiasis. So, right know my father was going through tradisional treatment at Melaka. I hope my father will recover soon. Amiin.
