There are several types of intenet servives.
First is World Wide Web,a system of interlinked hypertext documents accessed via the Internet.
Second is Electronic Mail, an internet service that allows the transmission of messages and files via a computer network. Consist of simple text or can contain attachments, such as documents, graphics or audio/video clips.
Third is Instant Messaging, a type of online chat whch offers real-time text transmission over the internet. A private chat that allow registered users to communicate in real time. For instance. Yahoo Messenger or Facebook Messenger.
Fourth, Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP), a technology allows user to make voice calls uisng an Internet connection instead of a regular telephone line. For example, Skype, Google Hangouts or Line.
Fifth, Message Board, an internet site where users can post comments about a particulat issue or topic and reply to other users postings. An online discussion site where people can hold conversations in the form of posted messages. Also called Internet Forum.
Last, File Transfer Protocol (FTP), an internet standard that permits file uploading and downloading with other computers on the internet. For example, SmartFTP.
